Internal Medicine
Internal medicine encompasses a wide range of specialized healthcare services. Our internal medicine department evaluates the most complex cases, those that are difficult to diagnose and therapeutically manage.
Who We Are
Mountainside Animal Emergency & Specialty is dedicated to being here for you and your pet whenever you need us. We work hand-in-hand with your regular family veterinarian to provide emergency and critical care veterinary medicine when your veterinarian is unavailable. Once your pet’s condition is stabilized, you have the option to return to your regular veterinarian for ongoing care.
In addition to offering the most comprehensive emergency and surgical care possible, we provide Internal Medicine Services on a referral basis to address more complex medical cases. For surgeries or procedures beyond the scope of emergency and internal medicine, we work closely with other board-certified specialists in the area. Our emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies and walk-ins—no appointment necessary.
