Meet Dr. Dian Kartolo. She is originally from Mississauga, Ontario and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2024. During her 4th year of vet school, Dian did a clinical rotation here at Mountainside Animal Emergency & Specialty and enjoyed her time so much that she decided to come back as a veterinarian! During the first 7 months of her time at Mountainside, Dian worked under the Ethos ER Immerse mentorship program where she worked alongside the support of other experienced doctors here, before transitioning into a full time ER associate veterinarian. Dian has a keen interest in emergency medicine and finds fulfilment in helping owners and their beloved pets in their time of need. 

Outside of work, Dian enjoys many hobbies including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, scuba diving, and just generally being outside! Otherwise, she can be found enjoying a cozy day at home with her partner and their 2 senior Labrador Retrievers, Buddy and Benny.
